Our Founder, George
In 1979, our founder, George Anderson, started Floors by George as a simple floor repair company. From the very beginning, George personally bid every job, ensuring his customers received exactly the flooring solutions they needed.
His dedication to quality and personal attention laid the foundation for a company built on trust, craftsmanship, and strong customer relationships.
Today, George’s son Zane, along with our experienced team, continues that legacy. We take pride in adding quality, value, and comfort to homes across the Tulsa metropolitan area, specializing in restoration and flooring services that homeowners can rely on.

Zane
Zane is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the flooring industry and a strong foundation in business, holding a BA in Business. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he’s often found on job sites in great spirits—connecting easily with clients and contractors through his positive attitude, laughter, and genuine smile.
A lifelong learner, Zane is always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally. He’s a devoted dad who loves spending time with his four boys. He has a big heart for animals and an even bigger one for his community, regularly giving back by serving at his church, coaching youth teams, and helping out at his kids’ elementary school.
Zane brings not only expertise and reliability to everything he does, but also warmth, integrity, and a people-first mindset.
Dayton
Dayton Minter has been a valued member of the Floor and Restore by George team since 2019. As a bilingual professional fluent in both Spanish and English, Dayton plays a key role in communication and customer relations!
A graduate of OSU, Dayton serves as Project Manager and is often the first face our customers meet. Known for always carrying a smile and bringing a great sense of humor to the job site, he creates a positive experience for both clients and coworkers alike. Dayton willingly takes on both the enjoyable parts of the job and the gritty work that comes with delivering quality results.
Outside of work, Dayton is passionate about basketball and still plays weekly. He also gives back to the community, volunteering his time as a football and basketball coach for his children’s teams. His leadership, work ethic, and genuine care for people make him an integral part of the Floor and Restore family.
